Mr. Mansoor Mubarak AL-Khayarin Qatar's Chargés d'Affaires a.i. to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar threw a welcoming reception at the Novotel Hotel in Yangon where he received the blessing for the occasion of Qatar National Day from visitors and guests.

The celebration attended by H.E U Soe Win Union Minister for Planning and Finance as the guest of honor. Other figures of high status in the Union of Myanmar also attended the festival besides a number of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, media, political and economic figures, and heads of diplomatic missions in Myanmar.

The event presented manifestations of urban renaissance, folklore and national songs of the State of Qatar.
