The Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar organized a celebration in Yangon to mark the 13th Qatar National Sports Day by the participation of the Chargés d'Affaires a.i. Mr. Ahmad Ali AL-Athaba and the Embassy staff.
In his speech on this occasion, Mr. AL-Athaba stressed that holding this special event on the second Tuesday of February every year comes in line with Qatar`s vision which encourages everyone to take part in sporting activities so that it becomes an incentive to practice it regularly to enhance public health.
The Sports Day activities varied including football, badminton, free running and walking.
