Qatar's Chargés d'Affaires a.i to Myanmar, Mr. Mansoor Mubarak S.B. AL-Khayarin received yesterday Regional Director and Representative of (UNIDO) to Myanmar Mr. Stien R Hansen.

Myanmar Director General of Political Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, U Soe Han, and Director General of Protocol Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, U Thant Sin met separately with Qatar's Chargés d'Affaires a.i. to Myanmar, Mr. Mansoor Mubarak S.B. AL-Khayarin.

A year on the blockade of the State of Qatar

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received H.E. Mr. Hassan Bin Mohamed Rafei Al-Emadi, Qatar Ambassador to Myanmar, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the country.

Minister of International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar H.E. U Kyaw Tin presented the Shield of Peacemaker to Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Hassan bin Mohammad Rafi Al Emadi, on the occasion of the end of his term in the country.

HE the President of the Republic of Myanmar Win Myint met Tuesday with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Myanmar Hassan bin Mohammed Rafei Al Emadi, on the occasion of the end of tenure in the country.

His Excellency, Mr. Hassan Bin Mohammed Rafi Al-Emadi, the ambassador of State of Qatar to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar threw a welcoming reception at the Novotel Hotel in Yangon where he received the blessing for the occasion of Qatar National Day from visitors and guests.

The State of Qatar has reiterated its cooperation with various United Nations bodies related to the fight against terrorism, including Security Council's Committees, expert teams and the Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force (CTITF), stressing support of their efforts in fulfilling their mandate in order to assist Member States.

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) expressed its condemnation regarding the different news publish on Saudi media claiming that the ministry has closed down suspended Hajj registrations for Qatari nationals. The ministry considered the fabricated news to fall under the campaign against the State of Qatar, and the distortion of facts is meant to set obstacles for the pilgrims from Qatar to Mecca, following the crisis created by the siege countries.
